Description
This is a photograph taken of St Werburgh Church in Devon. Iam not a religious man, but i have taken a bit of a liking to this structure and i decided to use it, for my end of year project at university. The building was built in the 14th century, and even before that there stood a Saxon oratory on the site, which dates back to the 9th Century. I have named it " A Church With Eyes" because of its location. It is near one of the worlds largest natural harbours and over the centuries, it has witnessed the coming and going of many famous sea voyages. I hope you like it

Still really like it, would like to see this first-hand myself now.
As to not being religious, how do you define religious anyway? I suppose you mean you are not part of an organised religion, but vague anyway.

I do think it's a bit oversaturated though... the blueness of the sky and sea and the greenness of the grass is just a bit too much to be credible and the artificiality detracts a little from the content.
Also, my first thought was that the church itself should be more central in the photograph, although you wouldn't to lose that view of the cliffs in the background.
Great choice of subject though, the natural landscape with a manmade object so old it's almost part of the natural landscape... maybe it would be worth trying the opposite approach, for example, a really contrasty black-and-white image.

Carlos has a point about the clouds. A polarizer would be good to use here.
